The Lightning C Arena is a family-owned and operated indoor arena with 67,000 square feet located 8 miles east of McAlester, Oklahoma, on Hwy 270. The announcer stand is fully enclosed with central heat and air and a full sound system with plenty of room for your announcer and a separate area to take entries. There are also 76 stalls and 30 electric hookups for overnight stays, and several back pens as well. The concession stand is operated by the owners and is open for all events.
The Lightning C Arena is home to many events, including the Oklahoma Youth Rodeo Association (OYRA) rodeos, Texoma Junior Rodeo Association (TJRA) rodeos, Cowboys Regional Rodeo Association (CRRA), Team Roping's, Weekly Barrel Races, Ranch Rodeos Mounted Shootings, Funderals, Birthdays, Graduations, Play Days, and much more.
